Picking Days

Hand pick a bucket of flowers from our fields with me, learning about the style of flowers we grow and how to naturally condition them to last longest in a vase. Then, over a cup of tea and a slice of cake, arrange your choice of flowers, foliage and fillers into a hand tied bunch to take home. 

During the 2 hour visit, you’ll also say hello to our hard working alpaca herd and learn how they are the backbone to the farm. 

For your visit to our working farm you’ll need sensible footwear please, we will be walking over uneven ground and will be using sharp cutters. Some warm or wet weather clothing would be a benefit, as most of the visit is outside, exposed to the elements. 

This event is for adults, for true flower enthusiasts, interested in how we grow, nourish and cut our flowers, it is not suitable for young children. We stay together as a group throughout the visit. 

A Full Participant ticket will enable the picker to pick a bucket of flowers, arrange flowers, meet alpaca and have tea and cake, learning about our farm. A Visitor ticket will allow the participant to observe the picking, meet alpaca, learn about our farm and have tea and cake.
