An Alpaca is a member of the Camelid family, descendants of camels, and most closely related to llamas.  Alpacas are small, gentle animals raised primarily for their soft, luxurious fibre. Their valuable fleece is harvested annually by shearing them.

During the night your body’s temperature fluctuates from hot to cold. This is often unsettling and can cause an uncomfortable night with disturbed sleep. Alpaca wool is made up of hollow fibres that allow water molecules to move freely. It is this that keeps your body cool and dry during the night and helps your body to control temperature whilst you sleep.

Product Care

Like most duvets and pillows, alpaca duvets and pillows may be dry cleaned with a specialist if they are excessively used however on a fine day why not air your duvets and pillows in the sun. It may be an old fashioned idea but you'll notice the difference when they've been 'refreshed' in this way.

Delivery

UK: Please choose the Alpaca Bedding Delivery Charge at the checkout. Most deliveries are made by Parcelforce. Deliveries are usually made between 7 and 10 working days from the date the order is received. The majority of our deliveries will arrive between 8am and 5.30pm from Monday to Friday. We request that an appropriate person is available to receive and sign for the delivery when required.
